Allen kundigen Beta Usern wird aufgefallen sein, dass die Lord of the Rings Online Betaserver heute eine Zeit lang nicht erreichbar waren. Ursache dafür: Patchday. Hier nun ein kleiner Auszug der wichtigsten Änderungen: Those of you experiencing a memory leak in the client should find it's been fixed now! Grouping at lower levels has been made easier! Players can now "Swiftly" travel between West Bree, Michel Delving, Celondim, and Thorin's Halls without having to discover those locations. Many changes to common/uncommon/rare weapons: Many of the better looking weapons are now only seen as uncommon or rares. This means there is a high probability that your weapon may look and be named differently. A thrush told us that finding supplies for crafting was difficult. This thrush also told us that there are some folks out there willing to help would-be crafters with collection of the materials needed to craft. Four pair of such individuals have been found throughout the world: * In Overhill, a pair of friendly Hobbits are willing to collect hides. * In Combe, a pair of lumberjacks offer their services. * In Duillond, a pair of librarians will do some research for you. * At the Silver Deep Mine, you'll find the Dwarfs are willing to delve into the earth to recover ore. Im Klartext heißt das, dass sowohl in Hinsicht auf die Performance als auch auf das Gameplay viele Verbesserungen vorgenommen wurden. Etliche kleinere Bugs und Exploits wurden beseitigt und die Funktionalität vieler UI-Optionen verbessert. Auch an der Craftingfront hat sich etwas getan, so ist es nun z.B. möglich bestimmte Komponenten die für Euer Handwerk benötigt werden bei (bisher) vier Fraktionen gegen bare Münze zu erstehen.
